Imagine a generation of Hoosiers realizing their full potential.

Now let’s make it happen.

Many high school graduates do not attend college, which leaves them with few options for training after high school that prepares them for a rewarding, high-quality career. Adults, too, have few options outside the traditional college pathway to advance their existing career. At the same time, many Indiana employers are unable to grow their businesses or meet customer demands due to a lack of qualified personnel.

The Indiana Career Apprenticeship Pathway (INCAP) creates new opportunities for Indiana high schoolers and adults, helping equip them, and our state, to achieve a brighter future.

Building a Pipeline to Promising Futures

High School to High-Demand

The INCAP Apprenticeship Program (INCAP AP) offers multi-year apprenticeships starting in high school that combine classroom learning with paid on-the-job
training. Because INCAP AP graduates earn the Employment Honors Plus Seal with their high school diploma, they’re ready to start a job, go to college, or participate in INCAP CP.

Options Lead to Opportunities

The INCAP Career Program (INCAP CP) offers industry-led programs for adults typically completed while students work part- or full-time. INCAP CP graduates earn a degree recognized by employers and colleges, allowing them to advance within their current careers, prepare for a new one, or pursue an advanced degree.
